It may not be obvious but I'm not making a accurate image of a wolf. The proportions are wrong intentionally. You see I love the feel of a mess, when things are not right, or feel off. You know how a kid draws and gives different parts of the image different emphasis based more on emotion or importance and not on accuracy. When I create these animals I look for subtle cues in the animal that I can exaggerate. I love the long lean legs, the vast colors seen within light on fur of an animal. Not perfect but perfection in the embracing of those imperfections.
